hi, I am new here on this forum and i have a question i hope someone can answer, If you buy an existing house on a piece

of land would it be possible to put the land in my partners name and the house in my name using a usufructs? all

replies appreciated.

Hi rickthailand

You can own the house in your name don't need a Usufruct and you will get the yellow book as proof of ownership of that house from the land department but I would get a good English speaking Lawyer to help you with all this. The land can then be put in your g/f name with a Usufruct in your name for the whole of your life and its best to do it before you are married. If you do a search for Usufructs you will find a load of threads on this subject.
