Try Prao road, the road going from 1st ring to Rim Ping Mee Chok (north)...

At the beginning of the road, just after the traffic lights, many second hand cars lots...

Just about any main road out of town (any direction) will have them.

In town, the main place is indeed that road you mention, specifically also the road from Chang Phuak Bus terminal and the old sports stadium going East towards the river.

all these directions are making my head spin. does someone have them plotted on a map?
