On Monday Evening on the Pattaya Beach side of the Royal Garden Plaza, Khun Itipon, the Mayor of Pattaya, was guest of honor at the switching on of the Christmas Lights at this popular shopping center.

This annual event, this year organized by Khun Satawat, the General Manager of the Royal Garden Plaza, signifies the start of the festive season here in Pattaya and despite the worries of many that Tourist numbers are going to be significantly lower this year, everyone was in high spirits as the spectacular Christmas tree and lights covering the front of the Shopping Plaza were switched on by the Mayor.
