I am sure you are not the only one who wants to know!! :o

I had a friend who once had her lip done at Central but it was uneven. Botox or maybe a filler. Not to sure about all the latest treatments.

I have another lady friend who went to the skin clinic at Phuket International Hospital for something else and was not impressed and was given a cream that made her have a bad reaction.

NOt sure if it is the same people who do the botox jabs.

I know one Aesthetics Medicine who used to work at Phuket Laser Center in Patong but now they moved to Phuket International...but not sure if he still works there? His name is Dr.Toy ... last time I heard he works at Romravin Central, you might want to stop by and asked the girls there, where he is working now. All my friends have had BOTOX, Filler ( Restylane ) and Face lift with him and it came out perfectly.

There are three or four clinics that offer it on Yaowarat Rd, near Bangkok Hospital Phuket. Start from the one just south of the Family Mart (south of the hospital) and walk your way norht and you will be able to do a lot of comparison shopping.

Be careful about inexpensive options:

Partier Beware

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued statements warning of the possible hazards of "Botox® parties." Whether used to treat medical conditions such as blepharospasm or strabismus or cosmetic concerns such as furrow lines, a Botox® injection is a medical procedure that should be performed in a controlled medical environment. According to the FDA, administering this treatment during a cocktail party greatly diminishes the gravity of this medical procedure. There is always a risk of adverse reactions or side effects after a Botox® injection, so patients need to be in a medical setting that is equipped to handle an emergency situation. And, the ingestion of alcohol at or around the time of injection could worsen any bruising at the injection site.

Yeah probably not a great idea to have botox done during a cocktail party.  I think there are such things are botox parties, but didn't know there were botox cocktail parties.

I seriously agree. Don't risk your health for a few savings. Find a reputable doctor who is specially trained in the procedure. Many of the doctors performing these procedure aren't even specialists. Don't be fooled by lots of advertisements either.

Most of the well known hospitals like bumrungrad etc are safe bets. M&T Face Care Center has also got a top reputation but don't expect cheap prices.

You basically get what you pay for.

Play it safe!

I am a 45 year old male who has had experience with cosmetc surgery. I have used Dr V for Botox and fillers in Phuket and was pleased with the experience. Facial fillers are rather painful, rather being an understatement (apparently they could hear my discomfort in Bangkok...), but so worth it. A few minutes of pain for 6 to 9 months of looking better (translate looking better to making actually me feel better about my appearance). In the past (15 to 20 years ago) I have had two nose jobs, a chin implant, cheek implants, lipo of my naso-labial folds and under my chin/neck. Although in the last decade I have only had Botox and fillers done. I am told I look like I am in my 30's, which makes me happy, as long as it's the low 30's.

I am going to see Dr. Pongsakorn Eamtanaporn at the Phuket Aesthetic Surgery Clinic on Monday for Botox on my crows feet, forehead and between my eyebrow, which is costing me 11,000 baht. This works out to under 500 Australian dollars (fair dinkum Aussie here, well one who does Botox anyway) for the lot. Does anyone have any experience with the Dr or clinic? I'd be keen to hear any first hand experiences with him/clinic.

I am also considering a mid face lift in the not too distant future as my nao-labial folds are becoming too prominent. I have good genes, my 70 year old mother looks like she is in her 50's and her beauty treatment is soap and water, which makes me want to slap her. She so should know better. Anyway, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Went to this guy and he is brilliant. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Phuket. Forehead, frown lines and crowsfeet for under 400 Australian. Would have cost me 1000 in Oz.

a friend of my told me that inexpensive botox is usually from korea or china. So, need to be careful with inexpensive one.

i just had my 3 rd botox in phuket. it went perfectly. not sure about the clinic name, but it in Hompro Village Chalong. it is something like Puttharaksa. The doctor is dermatologist from bangkok hospital. and it is cost effective than having it in the hospital. if you stay in chalong area, i think this place is suggested.

I have bad experience with poor botox. My eyes dropped for a month. So, during the last 3 years, I botox at Bumrungrad hospital bangkok. it is high standard and costly.

I live in L&H. I often go to shop at Villa Market in Homepro Chalong. Just found that there is a clinic offerring botox and fillers on 2nd fl of Villa Market. This place seems to be good standard and clean. A friend of mine also had Botox and Restylane here. I decided to have botox here. My first impression was the injection went not painful as before! I think the doc has good technique. Also I save lots of money from going to bangkok.
