I'm hoping to use computer language learning programs to help with me learning Thai, in between taking language courses here in Australia...

While I'm pretty sure that an intensive language course would work better for me (say 2 weeks full-time) this is the only real option I have except for trying to memorise a dictionary :D

Any recommendations about software that is better? Worse? :o

Thanks,

Quail

Courage Thai Interactive, ordered it last Sunday week, received it Friday, been 'playing' with it ever since.

Available on line from Thai Hypermarket. A bit pricey, but has far more on it than I think I will ever learn. Very comprehensive.

rosetta stone!

Awesome, I already have a copy of that so when I can get my computer to work (typing from net cafe) I'll install it and have a play. I know one of my younger friends used it to learn Latin, so... :o

I checked out the 'Courage thai interactive 2' on their website - it looks just what i've been looking for, because most of the books and cds only offer beginners stuff and is not very comprehensive. How are you getting on with it ? Can you give me more details on what the cds contain ? Thanks !
