Honda Race Day

Featured Replies

Not content with the car racing event on a grand scale last May at Ratchapreuk, Honda held a bike racing event in the centre of Chiang Mai yesterday. Groups of racing wannabes trashed tuned up Honda road bikes around a small track and a couple of pros treated a small crowd to something a bit more adventurous. Only a couple of minor spills before I left and nobody was hurt.

Just obsessively keen and with the usual compulsion to try and justify the constant upgrade expenses by taking as many pictures as possible! Glad you enjoyed them anyway.

Yes, very professional looking photos. I see many "action shots" posted on other boards that don't come close to these. It looks like your "upgrade expense" is being put to good use.

Pretty good man, sure looks a lot better than my pics on the Drag racing last year.

Did you shoot any video though?

Video maketh the day my friend :o

Whereabouts in Chiang Mai was it held?

Was it at 1000 year stadium?

Nice photos......

Wish they had Bigger Sport bike events there.... Still good though :o

It was really only a small event. Yamaha ran a similar but less well thought out day a little while back at the Karting Track at Hang Dong. Honda's was on the large open club/car park area between Nimmenhamin and Canal Road.
