December 21, 200817 yr Hi, I wonder if someone could recommend a good place where to buy current American TV series or movies on CD/DVD in Phuket. I miss them so much ;-) Unfortunately my internet connection here is too slow to download them. Thank you sincerely for any suggestion.
December 22, 200817 yr You cant find copy DVD's ?!?!? If you want to know of a couple in Patong PM me.. If you mean legal legit ones.. Selection in R4 is very poor.. And mail order attracts high import duties.

Walk north past the small hotel there, duck in left to the typical shops trying to sell you shirts and other crap and walk back about 20 meters, to where you will see some video DVD's for sale. Nepalese guy will take you to a big room in the back of one of the shops where he has TONS of series. I'm currently watching Entourage season 5 and Weeds season 4.

December 24, 200817 yr Lets hope your Nepalese friend doesnt get busted with your explicit directions to his shop Huggy. How on earth do these guys make a profit at 50b for a DVD? The printing, packaging and blank DVD must cut into most of that 50 b? And they also run a not unreasonable risk of getting busted every now and then when the MIB have a purge.

"Lets hope your Nepalese friend doesnt get busted with your explicit directions to his shop Huggy." I think before the feds find him, they'll talk to the three or four guys they pass RIGHT ON THE STREET. "How on earth do these guys make a profit at 50b for a DVD?" Considering there are hundreds of these vendors, speaks for itself.
