A Night Out In Sala Daeng

Featured Replies

Hi all hope you can help. I'm with my girlfriend in Bangkok for the first time and finding it all a bit manic!

We're in Saladaeng near Lumpini Park and the HSBC building, we want a night out tonight without going too far, we've noticed a bar call V2o at the end of the street, is it any good? What else is there in the area for going dancing later? I like house, but my girlfriend likes RnB. I don't mind if it's what she wants.

If there's nothing in this area wht would be the best jump off point from the skytrain?

Went out fot the first time last night and it was all rather confusing!! Cheers again and I'll check back later.

Tapas is the closest decent dance place. You can walk to it easily. Just walk down to soi Convent and then cross the street. Ask anyone it's right there. Doesn't get started until after 10PM obviously.

yeah i often meet a friend at Tapas and just sit outside with glasses of wine- you can order food from Balcony down the street and they will bring it to you there. it's good people watching as soi 4 is the (flaming) gay soi. also, the club after about 11 or so can be pretty fun.

Spanky's - Patpong 2, no dancing, just bar fly's and the usual dregs of society.
