Wanted Person Thailand Immigration

My friend is in Thailand and is worried about a visa run coming up, they have already been one and had no problem when he left the country they typed his surname only into a computer and nothing registered so was let through, do immigration check if you are wanted in another country ? does it depend on which border crossing you go to ? any help would be appreciated. its not a high profile case & it involves no violence to any person.

Not sure exactly how to answer your question.

But if he is not on an international arrest warrant from interpol or some other agency I suspect that he would not have a problem.

I agree with Joe. He would have to be on an international arrest warrent, which are normaly not issued for minor offences. But sometime you friend will have to face the music, namely when his passport runs out and he won't be abe to get a new one.

Could be his name was flagged,as the UK Police/Customs and Excise,have a link with most if not all overseas Immigration Computers.Could be his name was up for an unpaid debt,Child Support etc,he will soon find out when he walks on UK soil.
