Anybody out there own or previously owned a Lexus LS400. I'm thinking of buying a 2000/2001 model and was wondering about reliability and servising costs. I have previously owned Mercs (E class) and BMW's (5 series) and fancy a V8 for a change.

Lexus is a good Choice. I had several LS 400. Engines are almost troublefree. But transmissions have troubles sometimes. Also the RPM gauges and the speedometer usally fails to work sometime. Otherwise very good cars. Hard to find late models.
