Tourist Visa Expires Feb. 14

Featured Replies

I can get a 30-day extension, right?

Yes, on a tourist visa you can get an extension for 30 days. Costs 1,900 baht. Do it in the last week of your stay.

Yes. 30 days. 1,900 Baht Fee. You can apply a few days early. Here is the form. You will need a passport size photo.

Yes ^^^, assuming of course that our OP really has a Tourist Visa (from an embassy) and not a visa exemption stamp which so many call a tourist visa :o

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Answered above.

BTW How did you get on with your 12 month extension or did you give up?

I got my tourist visa in Vientiane. I've not given up on my non-imm O, but have become pretty discouraged about it. Especially after the wasted trip to Bangkok! I may just keep doing extensions and border runs until we go back to the states on May 6, then apply for non-imm O from USA prior to returning next winter. Meanwhile, I'll lkeep obsessively poring over everybody's advice... :o

Yes that would make things easier. Good luck.
