When I am looking at some pages on TV, the taskbar at the bottom of the screen show these 'Chinese'? symbols instead of saying thaivisa.com.

Other sites such as yahoo show correctly.

What char encoding are you using in your browser? Set it to Western, and try that. In Firefox you find this setting under -->> View -->> Character encoding

Thanks George, I have checked the setting and it is set at western iso 8859-1.

This does not happen all the time, just occasionally.

It is not a problem for me, but just interested if anyone knew as to why it happens.

weird, I use FF and have never had that before. But will keep an eye out for it. Have you recently updated firefox?
