Is there a shop or place on the island that sells proper Sports Nutrition?

Particularly I'm looking for Cliff bar products or Power bar products. It would be an added bonus if they had protein powder for shakes too.

Any ideas anyone?

Try GNC stores in Bangkok.

The Thai FDA set a stop for this products a few years back. However some bike dealers and bicycle/ triathlon clubs occasionally have some in stock either imported in small quantity or they bring it with them from overseas. Malaysia, Singapore and HKG have plenty of it.

Try the bike dealer in Thalang or the Triballistic club.

I know the Thalang Bike shop has got some power-bar product, I was hoping for a bit more verity.

Why did the "Thai FDA set a stop for this products a few years back." is this way back when epheridin was the big deal back then? (that's like 2000, 2001)
