Looking For Beach Bungalow For June

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm a university student in America looking for a bungalow beach house to rent from June through August 2005. I am wondering where some good and low-cost locations are. I don't mind living remotely and I'd prefer not to be in 'tourist' areas. I do want to be on the beach though. So I'm wondering how I'd go about finding a beach rental for around $5/day, or $200/mo. If this is unrealistic please let me know.

Sincerely,

James M.

You might have more luck in this section James, also check the links, you may find something there.

US$5 = 200 THB. To be honest you're going to struggle to find anywhere for that on any of the main islands however June is off season so you may get lucky nut it'll take some finding. If you're looking for long term then you may have beter luck, however one caveat is to maybe stay a few nights and have a look around before committing to a place for a long stay.

Some places where you may find joy.

Ko Pha Ngan away from Had Rin (I stayed on Tong Nai Pan for 200B a night)

Samui away from Lamai and Chaweng (although at that time of the year it could be worth a haggle in the main resorts)

Ko Chang, could be worth an ask anywhere on the island.

Bang Saphan is the place for you.

Bamboo bangalows on the beach for 200 baht a day

Discount for monthly rental
