Its a low growing bulb, smells quite nice, flowers profusely after a rain and the flowers are about 10 cm across (the bowl itself is smaller than that)

It looks like one of many species of Hymenocallis sometimes called a spider lilly.

I thought it might be a hymenocallis, but wasn't sure. Wish I knew which kind, usually the spider lilies you see are quite tall., this is quite low growing.
