we all know thai girls love their discount cards. couple of funny stories.

brought a discount card at major, supposed to be cheaper movies included, and then 10% discount but after movies were done, we got the discount once, the next time the girl said " we change promotion and card no good"

my friend had the same deal and wouldn't believe it wasn't any good anymore so his girl and him went and they said "promotion back" so he brought two tickets and saw it was the same price without discount. they assured him he was getting his discount but said "if you use card, movie more expensive but OK, we give you 10% off.

my friends girl also had the discount card at Hagen das 10% off. he brought stuff that would have been 315 baht yesterday. gave the cashier the discount card and the bill after discount, 315 baht. he asked where is the discount and she said she gave it to him but it was still 315 baht. his girlfriend finally got the story, for people that use the card there is a 10% discount but they add a 10% service charge to use the card

only in thailand and the girls keep getting these cards and never get upset when this is done to them.

one of the reasons i love living here, you never know what you are going to get and it keeps it interesting and fun. TIT

Wife paid what she thought she should - after discount. No comment from installers.

Get a telephione call later, saying we had underpaid. Wife took the call and spent the next ten minutes screaming down the phone, telling thew guy at the other end that we had paid right price. Eventually he says OK and hangs up. Job done. Discount achieved.
