Does anybody know a good place in Bangkok to buy Mercedes OEM or other aftermarket parts, particularly engine parts. I am even open to used parts if good condition. I can source these through my local Mercedes garage, but want to avoid the markup, and as I'll be in BKK for a week, thought I could do it myself.

I thought I might start with looking around Chinatown where all the auto parts shops are.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Best place in Chieng Kong (Bang Phli) for (used) OEM Mercedes parts is "Benz Thanan" on Soi 6.

There is another shop 2 or 3 doors away that is also OK.

I was there a couple of weeks ago, bought 2 front doors and 4 springs for W126. total cost 9K baht.

Driving towards Bang Na from Chonburi, the entrance is approx 500m after the Home Pro superstore.
