One Year Extension / new passport timing
As soon as you obtain upcoming extension apply for passport renewal. Ceases to amaze me why folk try and milk out pp. I suggest if less than 12 months validity renew -

One Year Extension / new passport timing
Renewing a Passport is more expensive compared to the cost of an extension. When to renew a passport is an individual choice - too soon, and you've wasted part of its validity. In your situation, which I was some years ago, I opted to renew my extension for 10 just months, then renew the passport. More cost-effective to lose 2 months permission of stay, than 10 months validity of a passport. Each to their own. -

What is it about Trump that triggers you and causes you so much angst and unease
IMO the cause and driving factor for the people obsessed with hating Trump is mostly media and social media. Media in the USA has slowly changed from mildly biased to the left to insanely biased to the far left over the last 20 years. The same as the Democrat party. It goes back to GW Bush where they created the same hate and crazy narrative against him. Social media types were comparing him to Hitler and claiming he would not step down and would stay in power forever. Fast forward to today and now they have a guy (Trump) who instead of staying above the mud and idiocy of far left politics (which GW Bush did) he responds to it and wades right in. This makes many of his supporters happy but in the end just fuels the nightmares these brain washed Trump haters live with. They actually believe he is deporting US Citizens and that they might be next. They BELEIVE all the crazy things said about him on social media. Heck many probably believe he eats babies for breakfast. There is a touch of insanity in some on this forum and a clear need for mental health therapy. Do I like Trump? Well I like some of his policies very much. Like controlling immigration again. He is doing it much the same as Clinton and Obama did but you wouldn't think so based on how media presents it. I like the fact that FINALLY someone is trying to pare down the federal government spending even if it is done poorly. DOGE needs to continue forever in some form ending the concept that money is never ending from the government coffers for any pet project. This is long over due. I respect that he has to date not committed US troops into a war zone. I despised Biden in his term. Yet I didn't spend every morning scouring the internet for some twisted version of him screwing up to post here. I believe Biden did much to damage the USA with his open borders and failures in Ukraine and the middle east. But again, he was in office so I went about my life. This is the biggest difference between normal people and the obsessed. Every day isn't about your disappointment in the president. And every person who disagrees with you in the net isn't a "Maga" lunatic or wrong. Sometimes the other side has an issue right. This wasn't aimed at any specific poster here. Certainly not the OP. If anyone wants to know if perhaps they fall into the catagory of needing help look at your past history of threads you have started and if it is more than one a day hating on Trump..... well perhaps a bit of conversation with a mental health therapist would be a good place to start.
