Taking Meds To Us

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm going to the States for a few weeks later this summer. When I've traveled between countries in the past, I've always taken along the boxes and bottles with the pharmacy's sticker on them, listing dosages and the referring physician.

In Thailand, I'm able to get all my meds OTC - even the ones that are scheduled meds in the US. And, they come in very nice little zip-loc baggies with some Thai writing on them. I tend to transfer them into bottles with English names attached so I don't get confused as to which is which.

But going to the US, bringing in meds from - gasp - Thailand, I don't think it prudent to take the little baggies. Any ideas as to how to go about getting things legal for travel?

TIA.

You have already had a similar thread moved, rocket science it ain't>
