Marrying In The U.k.

If I get married to my Thai girlfriend in the U.K. are we seen as legally married in Thailand, or do we need to have a Thai ceremony if we return to Thailand to live. Thanks in advance for any help.

As long as you sign the register and don't just have the religious part in church.... you don't need to do anything else. (except possibly some translations if and when you return to LOS)

It is exactly the same as a Thai marriage being recognised in the UK, just do the string tying - won't do.... sign at an Amphur - will do.
