2nd Visitor Visa

Featured Replies

Anyone know how many visits have to be made to the embassy to obtain 2nd visitors visa ? is it done on the day and does my girlfriend have to be interviewed again ?

Heard conflicting reports on this, so wondering if anyone have any recent experience. She was last over for 3 months and returned to los 9th oct 04, visa was for 6 months and expired 22/12/04.

Thanks

Darren

Providing that the circumstances are as straight forward as you portray the visa should be issued on the day. The one thing to avoid is your g/f spending more time in the UK than she does in Thailand as the visa officer may then refuse the visa on the basis that she's living in the UK on visit visas. However, it's now 4 months since she left the UK so that shouldn't be an issue on this occasion.

Will she have to have another interview ?

thanks

All things being equal it should just be a brief over-the-counter chat, not a formal interview.
