Forgot The Name Of An Apartment Building - Help

Featured Replies

I visited an apartment building in sukhumvit soi 24 two months ago and i'm very interested to rent a condo there, but unfortunately i forgot the name and address of that place.

The price for a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, furnished condo is 87k/month. There's a pool and gym on the roof.

The building is relatively new.

It's close to the president park. On the other side of the road there's a building with 24 units. Each floor is one unit.

Does anybody know which apartmentbuilding i'm talking about?

I think that's it! Thanks a lot Trogers!

The furniture shown on the photo's is different than i remembered though.

:) Perhaps the company pays an amount toward that kind of rent..whoooooha...and I have a noice two bedroom, two bathroom, kitchenette with oven and stove top, pool, kinda fitness center, good security guys, on 10th floor in Yanakart...and the price per month is now 16 000 baht dropped down from 18 000 when I threatend to move out...I consider we are getting a good deal and there are others available...address is Soi Sribumphen, Yenakart...a nice village atmosphere and the interior is not at all shabby... my government pension is not even the rental amount this guy is quoting, so must have money...... :D Dukkha.

87000 a MONTH? Cripes :)

Is that so unusual for a furnished condo in the heart of sukhumvit? Most high-end condo's that i found are between 60k and 120k/month.

It's not unheard of, but you can get some for much cheaper, even near Sukhumvit.

If it is The Residence - I am in that building (Paid for by the company before anyone gets the hump..) 87,000 seems high for a two bedroom. Most people are paying 80,000 - 90,000 for 3 bedrooms, 3 Bathroom furnished. Price goes up depending which floor you are on.

PM me if you want more details

Cheers

Any suggestions?

The reason i chose sukhumvit is because the BTS stations are mostly at walking distance. I don't feel confident enough to drive a car or motorbike in that hectic city. I'm used driving on the right lane and totally different traffic rules.

The BTS and MRT can take me almost everywhere, and to get to a final destination i can easily take a taxi.

Edit:

It doesn't have to be furnished, but there are some things that are important to me:

(highly) secured building

Not too many European or American tenants (i've seen how many create their own elite clubs, don't want to live in such a building, otherwise i could have stayed in Europe)

Close to a BTS or MRT station

pref. some good restaurants closeby

Quiet building (i want to be able to sleep at night)

A townhouse in a gated community might be an option too.

budget: under 130k/month

An alternative may be the Ratchadapisek area, covered by the underground network.

This area would meet your requirements, at the end of the day you get what you pay for, although location will be a factor, why pay double if you can meet your requirements for less, and in some cases exceed whats on offer in Sukhumvit.
