Driving Directions Out Of Bkk-

Featured Replies

i can well read and follow a map, but the bit i need help on is exiting the city and getting on those main highways out to khao yai and kanchanaburi.

could someone post the route from, say, sathorn/narathiwat rod intersection?

i know the tollway on rama IV that you take to the airport, is that the same starting point?

thanks kindly

Well Thaksin bridge/silom. You go over the bridge follow the rd signposted petkasem rd/ Ban kae when on Petkasem rd follow that about 55kms go past Nakhom pathom and follow the signs for Kanchinaburi. OR buy a GPS only 4,000baht up.

OK

Those are two different destinations. For Khao Yai, yes, you can get on Rama 4 tollway heading towards din daeng, keep going past Don Mueang and to Rangsit. Follow the signs to Ayuthaya and Saraburi, but make sure to only go to Saraburi direction when road splits. Then, as you approach Saraburi, you will change and follow signs to Nakhon Ratchasima. Since you're going two different places I suggest you buy a road atlas.
