TOT have launched another promotion for DSL users.

I realise some of you have problems with DSL, I don't (lucky me).

Promotion in conjunction with calls.

1mb link for 590 baht per month, and 300 baht of free calls to numbers in Thailand only.

2mb link for 590 baht per month, and 590 baht of free calls to numbers in Thailand only.

Do not bother with their homepage, it still shows the old promotion, get your missus to call the

call centre if you want details, or visit your local TOT shop.

Am not sure how long this promotion is valid for, so please check

The promotion is about up to 3 Mbps, depend on the line status. The cost is THB 590.00 a month which includes a Modem with 1 port and free calls in Thailand for a max amount of THB 590.00 You also have to pay a fee of THB 100.00 a month for the basic phone service.

If you need a new line as well, in some areas of BKK you can get those line for free. In other Areas you have to pay THB 3,564.50 for the Line Installation. If a old line is available but not connected anymore, the cost for activation is THB 1,650.00

I had just sign up for a few lines with TOT and that's the prices I got today.

Cheers.

Good idea. At least you can make calls when the TOT-ADSL does not work again. :) But with my TOT experience - often the phone did not work too for days.

But what are the conditions for the calls? Can you call mobiles? Can you use 1234? If no conditions it would make sense for an office where ADSL speed is not crucial. *)

*) TOT please note I wrote something positive!!!
