Medical Care In Uk

Featured Replies

Hi need some help a friend of mine has just brought his tgf back to the uk been in uk 2 weeks spent the last week in hospital he now has a £5000 bill and the cost will keep going up while she stays there. She has gaul stones or so they think doe's he have to bay the bill for her health care.

I think she does, as she's just his girlfriend. Did she not obtain insurance before coming? Sounds a bit like a national health tourist, they're always coming over here for the free treatment and screwing it up for the locals. Once she's better she can do a runner back to LoS and get away with it, that also happens a lot.

doe's he have to bay the bill for her health care.

who does he expect will foot the bill for his girlfriends well - being if he himself is possibly unwilling to look after her.

surely he took out insurance for her????
