I may be going there in April with a friend. I'm 24/female. The thing is I don't have a job now(might get one soon but I'm thinking of applying for a visa soon), will it be a problem to get a visa? I have 7 digits money in my bank, I've been to like 45 countries so far and all entries are in this passport including 10 years US visa, a bunch of Schengens, UKs...will they be kind to me?

You'll need to show the consular staff that you have a compelling reason to return to Thailand.

My friend came over to Japan, she is Thai and got the visa without any problem.

As Doctor PP said, As long as they know you will be returning and have adequate funds, you should have no problems. Good luck, and you will need all that 7 digits, if you are gonna stay in Tokyo for a while............Paeng mak!!

Have a good time, you will find it interesting I am sure. try to have a look around even if you are only here for a few days.

Make sure you go to Shibuya and watch the people crossing the road, it's amazing, so many people!!!
