I'm comming to Thai to teach and will bring my original BA. I have an MA but can I just bring my marks and leave the original here?Do I rewally need it to teach? :)

Many years ago, I asked the same question.

My degrees are framed, and sealed.

Any self-respecting institution of higher learning would want to see a certified and embossed copy of your transcript indicating what classes you took, and the grade received -- mailed directly from your university to the requestee. At least that's the protocol where I come from.

Sadly, such institutions of higher learning here are only interested in the diploma (the certificate, not the degree) Opening up wide the fake trade and truth avoidance.

In short, I'd say, bring it. Or just have one printed when you get here.

You might find it an unnecessary expense. Kindergarden teachers make more than university lecturers.

This seems to be an excellent time to exercise our rarely used guideline #11:

11. Posters who are suspected of baiting the other members through behaviors such as:

a. Starting multiple threads without following up with posts in their previous threads

b. Starting threads with suspiciously contrived spelling and grammar errors

c. Commenting off-topic in a manner which derails threads, especially in ways which go off-topic or break other forum guidelines

Perhaps the opening poster is simply having a bad night, but I don't think so. Thread closed.
