Cheap International Phone Calls

Featured Replies

Is there a cheap way to UK mobiles number for thailand, ideally from my mobile - perhaps a expat aimed tariff, my AIS one to call credit seems to get burnt very quickly when calling friends back home.

Try monkeytalk.net its cheap

Still 7 baht a minute though. When I was in the UK I was calling Thailand from mobile to mobile for 3p a min or from landline to mobile 1p a min. Here though from mobile to mobile the cheapest I get is around 12p a minute - that seems crazy! I haven't got a landline, and I do use skype but prefer the flexbility of using my mobile.

I do remember seeing a card for sale in the phone section of Ban Kapi market a while back, but I don't live in Bangkok. Does anyone have any info about it?

Could this thread get moved to the relevant forum? Thanks

Get Skype to your mobile. Even direct or as part of Fring. That will give you convenient calls from your mobile when you just have wifi available. For situations without wifi use prefix or call cards.
