Visa Run - What's The Latest Re Transport?

Featured Replies

I need to do a border run in the next couple of weeks for the first time in years. Can anyone comment on the operators offering a one day trip return Samui? Last time I did it a few years ago, there was a German/Austrian (yea I know it's not the same) guy doing the run, but the van broke down twice, with much drama etc. He seemed to try his best to keep on (sort-of) schedule, but the transport seemed to be falling to bits everywhere.

Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

I tend to use Julie for my visa runs, i don't have her number at hand sry

Thanks, I'll give them a ring. Herbert I think is the guy I used last time.

How is Julie's service? Any comments?

The other option to a nightmare journey in a cramped mini bus with a crazed driver is a leisurely cruise to Chumphon. A night in a cheap but comfortable hotel. Up in the morning and a short and beautiful trip across the mountains to Ranong and back for the afternoon cruise back to Samui. A much nicer and safer option in my opinion than the run down to Malaysia. :)

Some posts deleted . OP's question was about Visa run providers.
