after reading hundreds of reports about the publicised myth that is global warming, we finally start to see things trickle into the mainstream.

Christopher Booker's scientific views are BIZARRE and right wing, anti-science. Anyone who believes in intelligent design is basically a Christian fundamentalist, hardly a credible scientist. Oh, and second hand smoke doesn't cause cancer, that's a good one!

Via his long-running column in the UK's Sunday Telegraph, Booker has claimed that man-made global warming was "disproved" in 2008[1], that white asbestos is "chemically identical to talcum powder" and poses a "non-existent risk" to human health[2], that "scientific evidence to support [the] belief that inhaling other people's smoke causes cancer simply does not exist"[3] and that there is "no proof that BSE causes CJD in humans"[4]. He has also defended the theory of Intelligent Design, maintaining that Darwinians "rest their case on nothing more than blind faith and unexamined a priori assumptions".[5]

Booker's articles in The Daily Telegraph on asbestos and also on global warming have been challenged by George Monbiot of The Guardian [6], and Monbiot now offers the "Christopher Booker Prize for Climate Change Bullshit"[7]

Maybe you could start up some forum about global warming on a new website where people can say, "We're all doomed!" and others can say, "We need to look at this seriously and take some action," and then others can come in and say, "Global warming was created by the Democrats of the U.S.A., it's all political and the Earth has been cooling for the last 8 years!"

But to see it here, man, boring. Related to Thailand inasmuch as this topic pertains to the whole world...
