Hello,

Just moved to Samui and I'm thinking of staying. I like playing most sports- footie tennis, squash, Mountain biking, running, trying to kitesurf ......... I'm average at most of them and being forty and a bit I'm not getting any better. If anyone has got any advice please let me know.

Cheers

Jon

Diving, swimming, snorkelling etc is about all I do now. Used to play badminton a bit and squash but here unless it involves getting wet I don't do it. Your'e welcome to come diving with us.

I along with 2 others have just started a 'Koh Samui Sports & Social Club'. This club is to enable like minded gents to interact with each other at a minimum of 8 functions a year.

Within this club we are going to start 'Sports Sociities' where individuals who play certain sports have a chance to find other people who are available to do the same.

There will be plenty of sport and I expect plenty of beer along the way !!!

We are trying to arrange our first event for August and we already have members waiting who play football, tennis, badminton etc so I cannot see why you wouldn't fit in.

If it is something that you think interests you then drop me an email and I shall ensure you get the relevant details on joining this club.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hope you enjoy Koh Samui

I just read this out to my other half and he said he'd be interested in the 'Koh Samui Sports & Social Club'

I know there are a couple of other guys who were talking about getting together to play tennis so they may be interested as well.

Can you let me know a little more please Lee? I'll then pass it on to my boyfriend.

Thanks! :)

I am interested Lee :) but your email is "deleted".

would be great if you send me info! thanks

Jon, as long as you are PADI we can organise some kit for you. we are thinking of going to 3 very nice dive sites next Tuesday. South West pinnacle, shark island at Koh Tao and sailrock. Big English breakfast on the way there, lunch and 3 very nice dives. All welcome.

PS If you haven't dived for a while we can always get you in the pool for a refresher :)

If you go to my profile then my yahoo address is on that.

Drop me an email and I'll send the relevant information.

I don't know where the tennis club is but I'm sure there is a court somewhere.

samui tennis club is at the bangrak end of the ghost road up a soi on the right as you travel from bangrak approx 100 metres from bangrak junction.

there's also 2 courts at centara hotel, behind zicos in chaweng, and 1 court at the imperial hotel in chaweng noi.

samui tennis club is 200 baht per hour but you will need to book. centara hotel is 250 baht an hour.

I have been trying to send you deatils but it will not allow me to do so. Any resaon as to why ??
