WHAT THE ? 3 cars ? there are only 2 cars per team allowed in F1. He has tested for Ferrari before but it seems he wasn't good enought to make it. I would like to see him give it a go but only if he can meet the required % of the times needed to qualify. Just because he is a master on 2 wheels does not mean he can hack it on 4.

I thought this was talked about if there was a break a way, so that the Teams that stayed in F1 could have 3 cars to bring the numbers up to 20 on the grid..

As of yesterday there are 13 teams so 26 cars on the grid for 2010. !! nothing is 100% with mad Max as head of the FIA , a mad dog would have a nice injection.

It would be great for F1 to have the Doctor competing - Someone with personality, charisma and skill like Rossi can only be good.

And with 13 teams 3 cars each would make for some excitement

I don't believe "personaility, charisma" are allowed to be exhibited in F1 are they? It is so bland and controlled most of the time. At least in other forms of racing the drivers can actually speak outside the sanitized driver interviews and even show emotion sometimes. I think Rossi would miss this. Can you imagine the first time he stopped on the track after a win to put on some type of "show" for the fans?

I don't see another John Surtees.

I love your thinking and work - this is what F1 needs - now if we can combine offshore racing with it too, my world would be complete!

love to see it; the reflexes and intuitive skills would certainly be there and he would add a lot to what has become rather bland F1. Did he do any other rallies? - I know he took part in Rally of New Zealand a few years back when i was there.
