I was asking a Thai for different words for carry.

There are heaps!

hew, teu, neeb,ham, baek, joong.

I believe 'hew' is like to carry a briefcase.

'Teu' could be the same.

'Neeb' to carry something under the arm.

'Ham' like when two people are carrying something.

'Joong' like to pull at a child.

'Laak' to pull a trolley ie a golf cart, 'gae' in Isarn.

'Choo' to carry a plate like a waiter does.

Any more?

Wow, thanks Ajarn, that is great!

I love 'oomF' too. I love it when my little girl says "Daddy. oom noi".

Also when her mother says it :o
