Hi,

I have a Nissan NV (year 1994) and i'd like to convert it to LPG. My maintenance guy told me that it could result in a premature wear of the engine? Is it true?

Thanks

Any wear on a 1994 NV would not be premature :) , as it must be one of the few NV's that does not run on LPG just jion the rest and get it converted.

I do agree that "premature" isn't 100% appropriate :-) I just want to be sure that the conversion won't cause too many troubles.

Thanks for the reply

Hi olivostok,

I also have a 1994 NV - my fourth NV - interested to know how your conversion goes & costs. I have put an injected engine in mine. Carby eng was starting to smoke so thought it worthwhile. Was. Much more power.

On a trip to Issarn & Vientiane recently I saw a few very new looking NVs- have pics - I am wondering if they are still in production somewhere?

Also I doubt significant problems from LPG - but no specific knowledge.

Where are you?

Screws.
