Anybody have the same problem? I download a pic and it comes out a jibberish computer stuff........no image. Or it is php. and can't open that. Do I need special software to download and view pics on TV?

Some person just posted some pics of Chiang Mai and I wanted to download them and view them later. I use Firefox. When I download the only option is for "all files"..........no jpg obtion or anything else.

I do that and get nothing..............

Yes.........I just tried to download your avatar..........right clicked.......and up came save as........jpeg option given.....no problem.

Now, I can go to any photograph on this thread, open it, view it.........then I try to right click to save it........it only says save as all files or sometimes save as Firefox document

Then I get jibberish and can't see the image

I just tried downloading a few pics that were like 86% of original (small versions). No problem........right clicked and got the ability to save as jpeg. Then I enlarged the picture and up popped Firefox.......it immediately showed html at the end.......could see the picture......no problem.........then right clicked to save it and got jibberish again. Firefox is the problem? I wonder if I can set it up so that ACDsee opens all pics and maybe that will work.

What you need to do. Click on the image to pop up a new window with the image enlarged. Now, right click and select "Save Image As". In the box that shows the file name to save it as, change the .html to .jpg and save. It will now be correct. This is due to the board software, not Firefox.

Thanks for the advice........I tried to rename using jpg and it did not work..........changed to jpeg and it worked. Now, if I can find those pics of Chiang Mai again, it will be a miracle. Thanks again.

Probably has to do with what image software you have on your computer and to what extension it recognizes.
