Cycling Routes Around San Sai - Not On Main Road

Featured Replies

Well, I've got myself a bike. I live near Laguna homes in San Sai, and I want to do a few bike rides each week.

Im not too keen on hitting the main roads too much, although I dont mind crossing them on occasion.

Any nice routes people have been on?

Im looking for somewhere in the region of 30km round trip?

I have Google Earth, or if you could trace a route on Google Earth and post it here, that would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Phil

road along the east side of the Ping River might work for you, a fair number of cyclists use it, easy to find and follow

Ah, thats a good idea. I can follow that east road up North of the city too. I'll give that a go tomorrow I think. Thanks for that.

Any other ideas also welcome, as I want to ride a few times a week, to get rid of my excess fat

yes, go north (less traffic), all the way to the Mae Ngat Reservoir if you like

another mostly dirt road runs along the canal that you can find behind Mae Joe University, then go north or south which would take you down near San Sai Town. small roads run off that to the east into the hills when you want a climb
