I know there's been some criticism lately of the moderators being heavy handed in their duties.

However, I hope everyone will consider what a difficult job they have; having to read through dozens and dozens of posts every day, enduring idiotic flame wars, tons of boring junk (some of it my own), and stuff that just doesn't belong here.

Although I don't always agree with some of the mods' judgment, I'm glad they're there to keep this place both civil and on point.

Fair enough. But as a long time reader of soc.culture.thai, a group that started out as being very useful but deteriorated into a useless flame pit, I appreciate the civility of a moderated forum. I even like your stuff....
