Whilst I did try to follow that thread, it appears to have gone off the rails.

So, in the interests of sanity and current updates, does anyone have any real experience?

I own several hi-po vehicles and would dearly like to drive them/some here.

I am busy with a BOI corporation - would that be of benefit?

Alternatively, the Penang solution is also a possibility.

Are there any kinks or pitfalls to be aware of - viz insurance, C&E, driving between the 2 pees, etc

Use a broker and pay the fees,, there are imports here just gotta look. Our uncle has a few dozen at nong nooch gardens if you live in pattaya go take a look, dodge ram srt, new shelby, ford gt, toyota fj, we bought a fj at the same time as him, but got rid of it, was us spec and was a hassle with tollbooths. we have used a friend to bring In polaris atvs, and a few big bikes, im not too sure on the older cars though i can find out mssg me if your serious. Wont hurt to make a phone call... What are you trying to bring in? from where ? and how much are you willing to spend to get it here?
