Pompey, theyve sold so all of their best players and are looking to replace them with bargain basement players .... plus they were falling down the league for a long period of last season.

Hull, were absolutely dreadful from Xmas and only stayed up due to their very good start, plus no players seem to want to sign for them.

And i will also go for Burnley as i know <deleted> all about them but they were the lowest placed team to come up ...... But Brums midfield of Ferguson and Bowyer looks as if it could be the new Butt Nolan combination ie dreadful with no pace or skill.

Agree with Pompey

Burnley as they haven't got any decent premiership players

Then a toss up between Wolves and Birmingham, so I will go for Wolves.

Also Newcastle to miss out on Promotion next season, beaten in the play offs by Boro

Think 1 of them should get automatic promotion.

Some truly dreadful teams in the Premier League this season, who'll be praying for 17th place.

Wolves - Their manager played abysmal football at Sunderland getting a record 11 points in a season. Will need to do whatever to stay up.

Burnley - Dont know too much about their players, again need to do whatever to stay up.

Brum - Same for these but theyve some truly awful past it players in Bowyer, Ferguson.

Stoke - Kicked <deleted> out of the opposition last season its what their manager is renowned for.

Pompey - Hart did play good football at Forest, but not last season at Pompey, with useless players will be terrible to watch.

Hull - Truly dreadful, and their managers a Mackem learned his trade under Allardyce.

Blackburn - Allardyce and his long passes as he likes to call them, renowned for anti football.

Wigan - Spanish manager but theyve sold most their decent players, maybe ok to watch as still got some ok footballers.

Bolton - Megson <deleted> player who couldnt pass a ball, neither can his teams.

Best out of this league for the time being. :)

Let's see, no idea how it will really turn out but on form I'd have to say Hull City.

For the next two, I'll say Wolves and Burnley. I watched Burnley play a bit and they are truly an exciting team with a lot of young talent and I think they'll score goals but right now their squad is just too small although they have made some additions. They could surprise people, though.

But really, my opinion could change after the transfer market closes. I think Portsmouth will get at least 5 more players when all's said and done but if they don't they may indeed be in big trouble. I also think Stoke could be thereabouts so really I think it's 3 of the 5 teams I mentioned.

any 3 from:

wolves

pompey

hull

stoke

burnley.

if I had to pick 3 I'd go for pompey, hull & stoke.

I hope stoke go down. that tony pulis guy is a prize prick and their football is rubbish - without delaps throw they'd lose approx 75% of their goal threat. yawn.

Relegated this year I'd go with ...

Newcastle, Middlesbrough and West Brom.

Now if I really exert my psychic powers into 2010

Bolton, Hull and Portsmouth. :)

Hull City are the biggest certainties.

Birmingham will not score enough goals

And I think Portsmouth will struggle.

Personally if Burnley can get over what is guaranteed to be an horrendous first 5-6 games, I think they will do what Reading did and what Hull did for the 1st part of last season, and I see them finishing well clear of relegation

Mighty Mick is in a different position than when his Sunderland side were so awful. His chaiman now, Mr Morgan, albeit a converted scouser will give him the support and the dosh he needs to at least let Wolves compete. Key to them staying up is who will come on loan as the squad is skillful but far too inexperienced.

Burnley in the same boat, but will surprise a few. Hull were well and truely worked out by the end of the season and will need to change their game plan else they are in deep doggy poo.

Portsmouth, sadly as I like a working man's club, are in trouble. They pay crap high wages generated when they had " stars" which have now left. Slippery slope I'm afraid.

Stoke's home support was as much responsible as Delap's arm for their success and that support aint going anywhere, they will survive.

Wigan and Bolton. No great support to be honest but sides with good buys in the closed season, but nothing to get the old juices going, one of the two will find their new "stars" not gelling and will struggle.

Hard to pick this seasons " Newcastle ". But i'l upset a few by saying Everton if they sell Lescott will struggle at the back..........who knows if their strike force which seems prone to injury will be able to score enough at the other end.

Sorry forgot Brum...............Rubbish.

I dont' think Hull are the certainties that people are expecting..

Macarthy is far out of his depth in the Prem, as will Pulis be this Year..

Wigan will struggle..

I'll go Wolves, Stoke &.................

My heart wants :-

Manchester City

Liverpool

Chelsea

Nah, that would make for a very boring season for the fans ken.

I don't know who I think will be relegated. They haven't even kicked a ball in anger yet :)

Portsmouth, Hull and Birmingham for me.

In the championship I can see Newcastle taking a further slide.

I think it will be Hull,Portsmouth (if they dont sign about 5 quality players pronto) and one of the promoted teams Wolves,Birmingham or Burnley.

But no room for complacency for the likes of Stoke,Bolton,Wigan or Blackburn.

In fact, when you look at it,half the league is no great shakes.

I,too, think that Newcastle will be relegated again unless something drastic happens on the buyer/manager front.

Hull City...to continue where they left off last season

Birmingham...I just can't see them coping, a real yo-yo team like West Brom

Burnley...although I would like to see them do well..I just don't think they have enough quality...I hope they prove me wrong

i want hull to go down because phil brown is a massive knobhead. would also like blackburn to go down because allardyce is a bellend as well.

realistically though burnley and birmingham will go joined by one from pompey, hull, wolves and possibly stoke if their home form dries up.

He went up massively in my estimations ( as i too thought he was a Lemon ) after having a Beer with him in Beijing & him divulging some stuff when he didn't need to... :)

good point that. msingh, does he speak in person over a beer like he does on match of the day? in the third person? "well obviously phil brown has to decide what kind of beer is best for phil brown at this point in time, vis-a-vis which beer will have the best impact on phil brown and lead to phil brown becoming the best that phil brown can be. phil brown does not take these decisions lightly so phil brown weighs up the pros and cons before making a phil brown-inspired choice for phil brown's betterment. i'll have a lager."

haha too true. I had the displeasure of dealing with a guy in Abu Dhabi awhile back that always referred to himself in the 3rd person while talking. Not sure if it was arrogance or ignorance.

Wow, as i said, i found the Fella ok & am thankful he made a b-line for us..

I thought he was a Lemon too previously buyt he spoke about the Mna City thing, said that in hindsight he made a mistake but it was spontaneous, he was incredibly disspaointed by the Team & he wouldn't do it again, i appreciated his honesty that he admitted he made a mistake, simple as really..

Thumbs up in my Book anyway...

I thinks it's wrong to eat smoked rabbit foot. This is very unlucky in many countries including Russia where the Rabbit is at the top of the wolf food chain. I think we should all respect rabbits and the carrots they munch on.

Fantasy relegation :

Manchester City. There to be shot down.

Tottenham Hotspurs. Realty check.

Chelsea. Because they're Chelsea, or Chelsington -- whichever you prefer.
