I have noticed pit bull terriers advertised for sale in phuket, people call them work dogs but they were bred for fighting as their name suggests and are extremely dangerous dogs if not brought up and trained properly and are known to savagely attach and even kill people, in some other country's they are totally banned. whats your apinion on this subject

I ride my dirtbike through the hills around Phuket and there a lot of pitbulls used as guard dogs outside peoples houses, possibly drug dens/farms? In California there is a big debate going on about whether to ban them. I feel for the loving owners that have the well behaved ones, however the shear number of people, particularly kids, that are getting mauled to death is staggering. I feel the same way about this as I do about guns, and I love guns, but they are both dangerous when mixed with the general population. There is no rational argument or position for them that holds up when you look at the statistics. They gotta go IMHO.
