Don't you just hate porn write-ups where it's blindingly obvious it's a bloke is trying to write like a bird? :o

(Talking about the website, Shola, not your post :D)

hmmm.... I'm sure it's just a coincidence, BUT did find this little bit of info:

Shola:

This boy's name is used in Yoruba. It is a nickname of Olushola.

Yoruba is one of Nigeria's national languages. Nineteen million people speak it in the southwestern and midwestern states of Africa's most populous nation. There are also about a million Yoruba speakers in the republics of Togo and Benin.

I've come accross alot of sites that say it's a boys name too! But defo a girls name aswell, 'Shola Ama' for example!

Well any extra info on my name would be great if anyone's got any, I've tried the usual web searches, usually end up with about 16,000 results for that footballer guy who plays for Newcastle (?) :o

Footballer? Plays for Newcastle? So it is a womans name. :D

My nickname is taken from one of the ancient Icelandic sagas. The tale is of Olaf, Sigbjörn and meadish_sweetball (Mjödig Svettballe in Old Norse) who get stuck in a snowed-over igloo during an exceptionally long winter and discuss the benefits of a quantum mechanics approach to affirmative action policies in post-ironic societies and Schopenhauer's influence on script writers of Brazilian tv melodramas. An underlying and slightly eerie theme in the story is Sigbjörn's violent and unrequented passion for Olaf's goat Bräkur.

A must-read.

The very next time I'm stuck in a snowed-over igloo during an exceptionally long winter in Thailand, I'll be sure to give it a good read.

Windows 98.................wots wrong wid yer Toastie

bkkmadness - a coin of phrase me and a dutch mate used in the pre thaksin days of all bars open late and 3 day benders.

bkkmadness was the term when you'd just caned too much sang som/red bull, not seen sunlight for a month and survived on barEly enough food to keep a vietnamese farm hand happy.

When you got the madness it was time to get the f.uck out of the city and retreat to kanchanburi, albeit to continue the bender in a more pleasant enviroment. :D

btw, I know I have use the word 'benders', try to restrain yourselves lads. :o
