March 15, 200520 yr My nickname is taken from one of the ancient Icelandic sagas. The tale is of Olaf, Sigbjörn and meadish_sweetball (Mjödig Svettballe in Old Norse) who get stuck in a snowed-over igloo during an exceptionally long winter and discuss the benefits of a quantum mechanics approach to affirmative action policies in post-ironic societies and Schopenhauer's influence on script writers of Brazilian tv melodramas. An underlying and slightly eerie theme in the story is Sigbjörn's violent and unrequented passion for Olaf's goat Bräkur. A must-read.

March 17, 200520 yr bkkmadness - a coin of phrase me and a dutch mate used in the pre thaksin days of all bars open late and 3 day benders. bkkmadness was the term when you'd just caned too much sang som/red bull, not seen sunlight for a month and survived on barEly enough food to keep a vietnamese farm hand happy. When you got the madness it was time to get the f.uck out of the city and retreat to kanchanburi, albeit to continue the bender in a more pleasant enviroment. btw, I know I have use the word 'benders', try to restrain yourselves lads.
