Recommended Posts

Hi, my girlfriend and i just moved to Phuket and are living in the Chalong area. I am looking for a hairdresser that speaks enough English to not cut off my sideburns and who doesn't charge western prices for that privilage! Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Jono

Hi

Bit further out, maybe 1km from circle at most - heading Chalong towards Phuket, go past Home Pro and continue, just before first entry road to Big Buddha and yet another 7/11 store across the road, there's a hairdressers salon on the left - 'Happy Beauty' has the big yellow smiley face on the sign. Jin is manager/owner, good English and best I've found either here or Karon area where i was previously.

Chalong circle.....towards Police station...just past it about 50m on the same side is a small barber. Charges me 60 Baht for a hair chop (used to be 40 3 years ago). He is good and careful.

Eh, has been my Thai haidresser of choice since '04......... :D

Lovely girl, speaks excellent english.

NO funny business, straight as......

On the left, opposite AO Chalong in on road to the pier.

Next to Come ON Bar, my drinking hole of choice, :)

I have been to one place a couple of times now and it's on the Tesco's complex the hairdresser is above Black Canyon up the stairs, nice and clean and plenty of space the girl who has cut my hair I dont know her name but she very pretty with long curly hair and speaks good English, one of the best hair cut's I've had around here for years.
