I'm ex-Wellington then Karon now living Chalong; beers i miss here are the dark ones, Tuatara Porter (from Waikanae), Monteiths Black and Speights Old Dark, never a fan of draughts or lager and get by ok on the local drop. Guinness not for me, and hadn't thought about dark beers till saw your post. Curses! You've put me off my beer now; wasn't aware of this Kiwi Bar will try one day. cheers

Better off spending a couple of hours in the massage parlour right opposite.

The Guiness i find in S.E.A. is 8% and does NOT taste rite. I see people 'bottling Guiness"..... <deleted> in Malaysia where it is brewed. I treid it once, no gidget as I recall, was 4 years ago in KL......... 'orrible. Guess I will stick with Chang, neva pissed and neva a hangover.
