I bought some land (well my wife got bought some land). The original land was 2 strips running sw-ne. What we wanted was a strip running across these 2. We just asked the local land office to sort it out They came, checked the original markers, asked us where we wanted to cut it. About a month later we (my wife & original owner) got new Chanots. And we had to pay the tax on the new plot, as ownership was transfered.

Hope this answers your query.

i subdivided 5 rai, chanoot to 2.5 rai ploat. took about 1 month in Ko Samui.

i'm current splitting of 216 waa2 from a 3 rai nor sor sam, seems to be taking a bit longer. the cost is minimal in both cases.
