Siam Cottage Rawai - Snake N Pygmy Pie!

Featured Replies

Been driving past this place a couple of times and didn't take too much notice - assumed it was just another Thai eatery, of which there are many of course. Just saw a sign Steak and Kidney Pie <insert dribbly smilie> Has anyone ate there? Any recommendations from you Rawai gastronomes?

Well I can answer me own question now as we ate in there last night. It's obviously a new eatery - Thai menu of course but what attracted us was the board outside which said Steak and Kidney Pie, Cornish Pasty, Cumberland Sausage with mash and peas and gravy :)

Don't get me wrong I lerrrrve Thai food but just once in a while Sausage n Mash sounds just the job. We all had the Sausage n Mash n Peas n Gravy and it was fab. Think it was 180 baht a plate so good prices too.

Where is it? That's a good question. I don't know the name of the road but if you're driving down Sai Yuan going towards Visit, after Don's Mall there is a sharp left-hand bend - it's the road that goes off to the right with the big ditches on the left-hand side. The place is almost to the end of that road on the left approaching Visit Road. I'm sure there used to be another eatery there before but cannot quite remember.
