iforget Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 Dear All, Just want to draw your attention to an upcoming charity event in Phuket called Race Day, on November 7, at Canal Village, Laguna Phuket. We'll have dragon boat races, kayak races, a raft race, and a cardboard box race for kids. There will also be a chance for macho types to work out their aggression with muay talay, and there will be a rubber duck race with some excellent prizes up for grabs. We need: More people to sign up for the races.More people to back ducks in the duck race (locally or via Internet/ PayPal). Funds raised will go to the grant-making programme of the Phuket Community Foundation (PCF), which aims to support a wide spectrum of community initiatives not already covered by other charities or by the govt.
