Thai Wife Land Purchase

I hope someone can clarify a few things for me. I’ve searched the forum but can’t find the exact information I require.

My Thai wife is a government employee, the owner of a number of private businesses and financially well off (her own money). She also owns land and buildings purchased prior to entering government service and our marriage.

My wife now wishes to purchase other business premises with her own funds.

I am led to believe, as a government employee, she is not allowed to purchase land whilst remaining in government service. Is this correct?

If the restrictions on government employee land purchase are incorrect, can she purchase land or business premises as the wife of a Farang?
