Any info greatly received about naval sea scout/cadet type setup for youngsters in Thailand.

Scouting in Thailand is connected to the schools, both elementary and junior high. I don't think there are seperate scouting organisations.

On a couple of occasions have seen a group of youngsters, around 15 or 16 y.o. dressed in the naval uniform, (and before the quips come in, this wasnt around Nana, Cowboy, or ANY similar place) - anyway because of their ages we thought possibly similar to Sea Cadets (UK), and maybe a setup our son might be interested in, with a view to targetting a future career.

I forgot to add, it looked a bit more than just another school adopting a navy style of uniform, as they had sailor hats, lanyards, some had kitbags.

(Or maybe they were all a bit older than they actually looked and were enlisted sailors)
