Open to all options i.e. Hotel, Resort, Villa, House Rental, etc. We are traveling with kids so prefer an area that is quiet and kid friendly, with little or no "bar" scene. Okay if it's not on the ocean. Also need to have some reviews available, like at TripAdvisor.com. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Also open to other areas, Samui, Hua Hin, Khao Lak, etc.

Saw good reviews for Smile House on Rawai, but no idea what Rawai Beach is like.

Nai Harn beach close by Rawai ( 5-10  minutes) is really nice if you're looking for a nice beach. Not sure you'll find any nice houses for that short of a period during the busiest time of year.

Somebody else made a request like this a few days ago. And same lack of information!

For a number like 10-12 people, in order to get help, you'll need to say how many couples / kids / rooms this equates to. Ie 12 people all in single rooms, or 12 people who can double up in 6 rooms.

Please be clearer and you will probably get an answer. Good luck.

Looks like we'll only be 10 people:

room 1: couple / one large bed

room 2: family of four (2 adults, 2 young kids) / one king size bed and one roll away bed

room 3: family of four (2 adults, 2 young kids) / one king size bed and one roll away bed

We are all one extended family, so happy to all be in the same unit if it's a villa or house. Otherwise prefer to be closeby or in adjacent rooms. Ideally a quiet area, without a big bar scene. Prefer calm seas. Don't mind driving short distance to beach. Mid range to slightly high end. Thanks again for any suggestions.
