Having been told by the sales person in the Apple iBeat shop who are selling the iphone, that there's no AppleCare extended warranty available for the iphone in Thailand , I was wondering where you would take an iphone that needs repairing in Thailand . I know you could possibly take it to your local IT mall and find some young Guy who say's yes can repair , but I was wondering if any one here had taken an iphone in for repair out of warranty , and how did it turn out ?

Thanks to the fact that the iPhone was not officially sold in the LOS for a long time, the grey import shops built up a lot of expertise in fixing iPhones. You can find them in any mall.

I'd think the official iPhones sold at True could be purchased with an extended warranty?!
